Yeah Im pretty sure you got the rimfire only model. Atleast from the sounds of it. I dont know if Id trust it to get beat around on an actual AR or not. If and its a big if that you find an adaptor. I couldnt turn up one to go with that model for my 15-22 after finding a hell of a deal on the EOTech locally.

You did get the rim fire only model! We don’t carry any other EOTech models with that base and that model was new for this year! I’m guessing the guy you purchased it from probably ordered the wrong one as well and then sold it to you! Sell it on Equipment Exchange and start over!

Yea….I had already researched the whole internet and seen that EOTech websight info and picture too.
Best bet is to SIMPLY ask EOTech if it would work, before spending a lot of time and money buying and then trying to return stuff to vendors who don’t deserve nonsense.
“SIMPLY ask EOTech“…..yea, right! LOL
Thanks again.

It would not be difficult to support the Mossberg 500 Accessories 930, so we are waiting to see how successful the Urbino stock is overall before we think seriously about that.” I know it’s a long shot but if a quality, aesthetically pleasing stock for your 930 is appealing, jump in there and let him know! Vern1968 4/22/2011 7:39:29 AM Best I’ve seen yet. I would purchase this. I will send off an email to him. vengarr 4/22/2011 8:34:20 AM Too bad you can’t operate the safety with a pistol grip stock, I would put one on mine in a second. 2 of my experienced bow-hunting friends took me to Rocky Point after pheasant last “windy” Friday – at one point I think I played the part of the bird dog as I evidently spooked a trophy buck while trying to scare up a darn ring-neck! Known the one guy for almost 30 years. Basically, they just said, “shut up and just enter the lottery!” (I had said that if I ever did deer hunt, I’d use my Marlin in .35, never expected to find myself after Bambi’s dad this close to NYC.) We did some scouting around further east around Manorville as well.
I have a 3×9 40mm on the Marlin that was advertised as suitable for tactical shotguns and I had thought about just getting a mount for the Mossberg 500 Accessories ‘s tapped receiver- definitely a lot of options to consider, and not all seem to be overly expensive.
If I can just use this scope I already have — just have to decide which of the 2 barrels I have would be best, the 28″ or the 18 1/2″

The Long Island deer season is a lot of fun. Bring extra ammo! The beat method is drives as you allready found out. The lottery must be mailed in by the end of the month, good luck, MIKE.

There are much better scopes out there than your 3 – 9 for tactical shotgun. Here are a couple:
www.bushnell.com/productinfo/riflescopes/trophy.html
www.simmonsoptics.com/page12/SimmonsPage12.html
On the Bushnell page, the 1.75-4 X 32MM is a good choice. For fast and furious shooting, crank it down to 1.75 power. The 32MM objective gives you excellent light transmission, and the “circle-X” reticle is good for this kind of shooting. At the other end, you have plenty of magnification if you need to take a longer shoot.
The Simmons Pro-Diamond is basically the same thing. They also offer an illuminated reticle model.
Personally, I don’t like 1X red dot scopes for anything over 25 yards. For deer hunting, precise shot placement is important, and 1X red dots take a back seat to magnified scopes beyond 50 yards.

] Aimpoint battery life is stated as XXXXX amount of hours at a specific battery setting. If you leave it on MAX brightness it will dramatically cut your battery life shorter than advertised. Casper507 Mar 2009 USA MN, USA 78 : 0-0-0 : 5/24/2011 12:58:17 So what setting were they on and was that the same setting they were on all the time? You obviously got robbed, Ill trade you a Barka Red Dot for the M4. Gun_Fanatic Dec 2001 USA OK, USA 254 : 0-0-0 : 5/24/2011 3:14:32 My take on this…… Unrealistic may be the word to use, and here’s why. They couldn’t possibly know the battery will last that long at the time of relase. What they do is use math and previous examples as a sanity check. They know a battery is capable of storing so much energy. They know what the LED would draw. They also know that it isn’t likely to run a LED for that long constant on. So they make a circuit that blinks the LED so fast that to the human eye it is always on (not to mention there is a time factor for the LED to wither once voltage is removed). Now for only fractions of a second we are on or off (conserving energy). A bit more math, and wow it looks to last 80,000 hours (or whatever the spec. is). Why is this possibly unrealistic? Math is perfect, and the world isn’t. There are always unaccounted for variables. Bad/cheap/old/fluke battery – brightness settings – temperature – and so on. I’d say anything even approaching the specified time is great and just means you had good luck with the battery and used it in the conditions it was modeled after. Someone else may only get 2 years, and the way I see it this isn’t a failure. It just means it was used beyond the ideal conditions or had a shitty battery. Now if there is a trend where most people are falling short on battery life, then maybe Aimpoint‘s ideal usage model was a bit conservative to fluff sales with inflated battery life numbers. Most people I know are amazed when the damned thing is still running at 1/2 to 3/4 of the estimated life (don’t know anyone at or beyond it though).

I have one and it’s great, it’s made by Vtac and honestly it’s cheaper if you get it at Bravo Co.
I love LaRue Tactical but I ordered my second one from Bravo Co because it was about $25 cheaper so now I have two, one for my personal gun and one for work

For us it was a test of faith as neither of us had ever tried out a pair of the Pro Ears. I wanted to send you an e-mail and let you know that our test of faith was well worth taking, we are both absolutely thrilled with our Pro Ears. I had been having problems with the ear protection I had been using not damping the noise (even with foam plugs in the ear) and was in pain when at the range. The big test for my new Pro Ears was sitting through a class where close to 1500 rounds were fired. I was very comfortable the entire time. As for my mother’s experience, she has found that when she takes her Pro Ears off after shooting, she doesn’t have the muffled “in a well” sound previously experienced with other hearing protection protection. To quote her, “we are sold on Pro Ears.” And on a “girly” note, thank you for offering the pink. Sincerely, Adrienne H. More Great Customer Care Thank you for outstanding customer support!
